The Dutch and Macedonian Cadasters last week launched a new phase in their productive cooperation to improve the Cadastral maps and services in Macedonia. In this way, the MATRA support program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands continues its support towards more transparency and better public services for the citizens of Macedonia, who as a result of this project will have access to better cadastral information.

3 MATRA Rule of Law Training Programme – Training “Integrity of Civil Servants” now open for applications
The Matra Rule of Law Training Programme is a two-year (2017 – 2018) programme designed to strengthen institutional capacity in the field of Rule of Law within government organisations in the Western Balkans, Turkey, Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova. It is designed and delivered by the Netherlands Helsinki Committee, Leiden Law School, and The Hague Academy for Local Governance, and it is financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. The first training session on ‘Integrity of Civil Servants’ will take place from 10-19 May 2017.
Heeft u zich geregistreerd om vanuit Macedonië te stemmen tijdens de Tweede Kamerverkiezingen van 15 maart, maar heeft u uw stem nog niet uitgebracht, dan is het nog niet te laat om uw stem uit te brengen! Uw stempapieren moeten uiterlijk 15 maart om 15.00 uur lokale tijd door het briefstembureau in Den Haag zijn ontvangen. U kunt uw stem na ontvangst van uw stempapieren direct opsturen naar het briefstembureau van de gemeente Den Haag (adres staat op de oranje envelop). Daarnaast is het mogelijk om uw stembescheiden naar de ambassade te sturen of even langs te brengen (tijdens kantooruren).
'Green Planet' - a children's theatre show that educates the young generations about the benefits of waste treatment and recycling was shown for the first time at the Drama Theatre in Skopje today. The show is part of the platform 'Are you recycling?' supported by Pivara Skopje, Pakomak, Nula Otpad and the Embassy of the Netherlands. After Skopje, the theatre caravan will continue in 10 more cities around Macedonia.
The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) promote capacity building by providing training and education for professionals. The NFP was initiated and is fully funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the budget for development cooperation. EP-Nuffic is responsible for the management of the NFP.
The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Macedonia is looking for a student or recent graduate who will work as a trainee at the Embassy for a period of 6 months, in the period February - July 2017.
